If I take a oxycodone drug urine test to detect oxycodone only will a lortab show up on it? Or a methadone? Or if I take a methadone test will oxycodone or lortab show up on that one?
They are all opiates but Methadone shows as Methadone

a friend was taken to the er from a accidental overdose.when they did a tox screen it came back high levels of methadone. there is no way she could have gotten ahold of it..she does though take lortab
she doesnt know what or how much of anything she took.. the doc said she had 16,000 mg of methadone in her system..how can that be?
yes, cuz hydrocdone is a opiod derivative, and each lortab does has a half life of 3.5 hours in your body before it's eliminated.

not if you truly want to beat the addiction. it takes a good 2 years of being clean to beat the physical addiction from those types of pain meds. switching to another prescription drug is surely not the answer.

I have always had serious ANXIETY problems! (even before drugs) The normal drugs perscribed for anxiety, I did not like and did not work. (xanax, valium etc.) Hydrocodone has always made me feel "normal". NO ANXIETY NO DEPRESSION. Very rarely did/do I feel really high from them. My addicts brain says, "Well....this is the only thing that works for anxiety and depression. So why not take them?" I empathize... I sympathize.... I was a heroin addict a very long time ago, switched to methadone and, because they don't encourage yo uto get off and mostly becdause I just let it go, I was on a program for 33 years.. I switched to sub last year and am now thinking about tapering. Where do you live? My program was $20 a week, in NY. I think most addicts suffer from anxiety, the narcotics are like a blanket that protects you from those feelings but not the right way to go to deal with anxiety. Addiction/withdrawal will cause worse anxiety. I wish I knew what to say about dealing...
