How will I find drug rehabilitation centers in Yeagertown, Pennsylvania, that administer buprenorphine?
Beautiful Grounds - Michael's House

I've heard that this is better than methadone and I just want to suggest it to a friend of mine who is going to get herself treated for her heroin addiction.

I don't know much about buprenorphine, but I have read some things that did make it seem as if it was a lot more appealing than methadone. You would have to ask around at drug rehabs to know for sure, I guess.

To find drug rehabs, you can use the links below. You can also ask around at the hospital, maybe one of the staff can give you a list of rehabs in your area. Good luck! :)

I want to find buprenorphine-administering drug rehabilitation centers in Freeport, Texas. How?
Waterfall & Pool - The Canyon Drug Rehab Treatment Center

I have come across information that claims buprenorphine to be better than methadone. I would like to know if this is true, hence the search for drug rehabs. The Internet provides sketchy details and I have found some sources to be contradicting.

I agree with you that the Internet sometimes provides confusing details. I too have heard of the news that buprenorphine happens to be more appealing than methadone, but then again, I don't know much about the subject. Below are links that may get to help you in your search. Good luck! I do hope that you get the information you need.

In addition to the other answer on here, your relative probably needs to check into a medical treatment facility. If he is in active addiction, it could be dangerous if he attempts to “come down” on his own or without medical professionals present to help him through the process. Once he is clean of substances, he will need treatment to help him see why he uses drugs (other than the chemical dependency) and will need help setting up a support system.

Not all treatments cost an arm and a leg. Many states/cities have treatment centers that are non-profit (clients don’t pay anything). It may be more difficult to find a free medical treatment facility, but if you look for a non-medical facility you should be able to find one of the free treatment centers. Even then, the facility can send him to a psychiatrist for medication to help maintain sobriety.

What state does your relative live in?

Good luck – addiction is difficult, but very possible, even after 15 years. Just remember that your relative will need all the support he can get as he enters recovery.
